However, I thought the visuals were great. I&#39;m not sure I cannot agree with anyone that &quot;Independance Day&quot; was a bad film. Although aliens aren&#39;t my thing, I still thought it was well made. I do think 2012 will be different only because its about a somewhat credible prediction. Keep in mind, 99% of what you google about the Mayan&#39;s and other prophets are all bullshit. I watched a show called &quot;Decoding the Past&quot; on the History Channel. If you get a chance to watch it, its pretty convincing as to why we shouldn&#39;t dismiss it. However, I wouldn&#39;t go out there and say &quot;Hey, the world is ending in 2012 because it probably wont.
